AN Old Hollywood Inspired Wedding in Seattle, WA
In the Lake Union area of Seattle you’ll find a venue called with aaallll of the vintage vibes called Imperia. It set the perfect backdrop for Jack and Chelsea’s breathtaking wedding, inspired by the glamorous allure of Old Hollywood. From the moment you stepped into the venue, it was clear that every detail of their day had been thoughtfully curated to match the vintage glam aesthetic they envisioned. Jack and Chelsea's love story is as unique as it is charming. Their families had a connection long before they did, thanks to Chelsea’s aunt and Jack’s mom, who were childhood friends. This delightful twist of fate brought them together in a way neither expected, but before they could embark on their first date, Jack was selected to go on the reality TV show *Love Is Blind*. Although he didn’t find his match on the show, Chelsea remained on his mind throughout the experience. As soon as he returned home, he reached out, and they finally met, and were all in from the very first moment and were nothing short of intentional throughout the whole process.
The inspiration they gathered for their wedding was deeply rooted in family and love. Chelsea’s homage to her mother was particularly poignant: she transformed her mom’s wedding dress into a stunning veil for the ceremony and redesigned the dress itself to wear for the rehearsal dinner. This thoughtful integration of family history made the day even more special. Their table settings exuded Old Hollywood charm, with elegant grapes adorning each table—each cluster tied with delicate bows that added a touch of whimsy. One of the most touching details was the repurposing of Chelsea’s parents' champagne coupes from their own wedding, adorned with the same charming bows. This attention to detail showcased their desire to honor their families while creating new memories of their own. As the day unfolded, the atmosphere was filled with joy and elegance. The venue's décor embraced the essence of vintage Hollywood, featuring lush floral arrangements, candle lit tables, and Jack and Chelsea radiated happiness, surrounded by their loved ones. Being part of Jack and Chelsea’s wedding as their photographer was an absolute honor. Their kindness and warmth made the experience feel more like a gathering of friends rather than a formal event. I couldn’t help but feel an immense joy capturing their moments, from the intimate glances exchanged during the ceremony to the laughter shared during the reception.
As I reflect on their special day, I feel grateful to have witnessed a love that is both intentional and genuine. Jack and Chelsea hold a special place in my heart, not only as a dream couple to work with but also as dear friends. I can’t wait to see how their love story continues to unfold, and I hope to capture each beautiful chapter along the way. In a world where love can often feel fleeting, Jack and Chelsea’s wedding was a beautiful reminder of the magic that happens when two people are truly meant to be. Here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter, and endless adventures for this wonderful couple!
